Holiday Inn, Tong Village
Karen and Richard at the Holiday Inn, Tong Village
Wedding Venues West Yorkshire, yes, there are plenty of them. After all the weddings we’ve covered, it’s great when you cover somewhere new for the first time! It’s near both Bradford and Leeds and makes for a great place!
It was easy to see why Karen & Richard had chosen this venue. It has a bit of everything! A great big lump of a house, which is tastefully preserved, whilst the inside is all shiny and new! Plenty of gardens to work in also, and for once, a decent size car park too!
The day started off in a great hairdressers called Signature in Morley. Both the staff and the atmosphere was spot on. The most amazing flowers were delivered there too. They were real roses which has been “Scienced” to turn the petals different colour of the rainbow, in fact ALL the colours of the rainbow!
Not long after we all headed over to the Holiday Inn in Tong Village. The rest of the prep shots began in earnest (I’ve never understood what that actually means!).
Once Richard (the groom) had arrived, I went to help with the button holes and cravats. He’d had a pint, and his shots were done, we were off to the ceremony.
Everything was spot on to be honest, so I really done know what to say, as it’d just be for the sake of it, so I’ll keep it short and finish off with 2 personal highlights for us!
Seeing Jack (a young photographer who’s helped me out before at a wedding) receive and wear a massive bib as he’s a messy eater! Seeing the sheer terror on the face of one of the unfortunate bridesmaid who had to dance with Lee, the best man!
Happy days all round!
