Midland Hotel – Bradford Wedding Photographers.
We love covering Yorkshire Weddings, because not only are we able to provide our services far and wide, but because it’s also a great way to see some of the fantastic places the county has to offer. This time we were over on the leafy outskirts of Bradford, to be Bradford Wedding Photographer of course!
We met Terry at the Midland Hotel for the prep shots. It was a squeeze with everyone in there, but we managed. Thankfully the dress was hung up on its own in a separate room in the attic!
I left Clare to carry on getting those shots, whilst I headed off to see what Neil was up to. As with most groom prep shots, it turned out that he was doing nothing. I had to have a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea of course! (I didn’t mention this to Clare though!)
Neil had the perfect balance of excitement and nerves. Luckily the banter from his 2 brothers helped.
The ceremony was held in a modern church. No real opportunities for shots there then, so we headed to the reception, the cricket club where Neil plays regularly. The wedding continued in a large room, with a massive window to one end of it, and a million lights hung form the ceiling!
Although it was nippy outside, we still got all the formal shot the couple wanted, and before we knew it, we’d done the wedding breakfast, the speeches and the cake cutting! To be fair, Neil and Terry were more nervous about their first dance than the wedding vows, but they got on with it, and we got loads of great shots of them smiling the whole way through. A great day with a great couple, and it’s official, Yorkshire Weddings rule!!
