Whitley Hall Wedding Photography – Sheffield
Covering a Whitley Hall Wedding is always a wonderful challenge. Firstly, it’s a great venue. Wide and wonderful gardens, with plenty of picturesque backgrounds. Plenty of options for great shots. However, you head indoors and it really tests your skills. The ceremony room is long, dark, low and narrow. The bar area is pretty much the same. Bring it on!
Both Mark and Sarah chose to get ready away form the venue. Plenty of driving around on the morning for me then! Tim and I walked into the relative calm with Sarah and the girls. When I headed over to se the boys, it was all calm there too. Mainly because some of them were still a little tender from the night before!
Guests arrived promptly and the ceremony started on time. I Do’s done, and the happy couple nipped off in the wedding car for a 5 minute spin. Just enough time to organise the guests for the large group shot when they returned. 25 minutes later (!), swerving the Peacock, they emerged from the Hall with smiles and glasses of bubbles. Formals done – tick.
There was enough time for us all to shy away to get a few personal shots. Just for the 2 of them. Tim switched into canid mode and captured some wonderful natural shots. Confetti replaced with bubbles. Champagne replaced with pints.
Guests took their seats, ready to eat. “The new Mr & Mrs Rawson” were ushered into the room to applause, cheers and whistles. Tim and I slumped in a corner and had our first real break of the day!
Before we knew it, we were at the emotional speeches. We were off to get some more shots just with Mark & Sarah shortly after. With so many great backdrops, it’d be rude not to eh!
Room turned round. DJ set up. Kids chased laser lights on the floor. Cake cut. First dance. Home to upload, check and back up the days memories. Sleep! #perfectday
