Whitley Hall Wedding – Sheffield Wedding Photographer
We love a Whitely Hall Wedding, but when covering it for friends, always brings a little bit more pressure for us, as you know, especially when they’re new friends that you’ll know for the rest of your life.
We met Jo and Mat a few years ago when covering another wedding at Whitley Hall. If we’ve told you the story about the proper friends we’ve made since becoming ILTO, and the people we’ve been away on holiday with these are those people (not forgetting Rob, Nikki, Bill, Val, Callum and Catherine too!)
With Clare and I sorting the shots of the shoes, flowers, jewellery, dress details, make-up, hair and nipple tassels(!), I headed over to see Mat.
As always, it started with a brew in the kitchen. As Mat is a tea making criminal (one of those people who likes it the same colour as the background of the text you’re reading now!), it was always going to be stressful watching him make it. Thankfully, after some close supervision, he made something quite drinkable!
Apart from one awkward moment when Mat strolled out of the en-suite in all his “glory” – his words, not mine!, everything was spot on, so we, headed back to Whitley Hall.
I could write another 400 words about how the day went, but if you look at the pictures, you’ll know! It was perfect! Lot’s of laughter, guests who actually wanted pictures – so we didn’t have anyone staring at us blankly or covering their faces with their glasses, decent weather and a bride and groom who relaxed and enjoyed having some fun with the shots.
What more could we ask for? Nothing other than a long and happy life for them both!
